Tobogganing
On your mark, get set, go! In the neighbouring community, just 18 minutes away by car, the Rodelbahn Guggenberg toboggan run in Hermagor awaits you and your family. Toboggan rentals are available on site at the Hotel Schloss Lerchenhof in Untermöschach, where you can equip yourself for tobogganing fun. Then a shuttle service takes you to the Guggenberg and you are ready to go. If you prefer, you can reach the start of the toboggan run in 30 minutes on foot. Then all you have to do is tuck up your legs, hold the reins and coast down the mountain. Tobogganing is not just fun during the day. You can also enjoy tobogganing every night on the Guggenberg.

Snowshoeing
It’s winter, but you still want to go hiking? Then try snowshoeing to explore the Nassfeld region. A large selection of hikes around the Hotel Garni Zerza lets winter sport lovers enjoy their zest for life. Guided hikes are also available in the region for snowshoeing novices. Passionate hikers with the best training show you the most beautiful places in the Nassfeld and teach you how to get around on snowshoes.
Aside from enjoying a daytime hike, you can tramp through the snow at night and marvel at the landscape with a headlamp. The alpine lodges and mountain restaurants in the Nassfeld cater to your physical well-being when you get hungry and thirsty.

Cross-country skiing
Enjoy a unique cross-country skiing experience during your stay at the Hotel Garni Zerza! The network of cross-country ski runs in the Nassfeld region covers more than 130 km. 5 of the cross-country ski runs are in the Nassfeld-Pressegger See cross-country skiing centre, in the valley and on the mountain. An incredible selection with something for every cross-country skier.
A cross-country ski run passes by the hotel, just a few metres away, so you can jump right in. If you don’t have your own equipment, you can easily rent it locally at the Nordic Competence Center Tröpolach to get ready for cross-country skiing enjoyment.
Ice skating
The Pressegger See is covered with heavy ice in the winter. Time to get out the skates and have fun on the ice! The lake offers 55 hectares of ice surface for your unrestricted enjoyment. Plenty of space, in other words, for you to unwind and enjoy the skating experience. Skate rentals and change rooms are offered directly on site.
The Weissensee, about 30 km away, also freezes over completely in the winter, making a perfect venue for all ice sports. 25 km of skating tracks and a 400 m track for speed skaters await you on the lake.
